As we prepare for our upcoming upgrade, this page will be your go‑to resource for key dates, important reminders, and other information. Upgraded Online Banking & Mobile Banking App: New and improved experience that allows members to “see” and “jump” to your joint accounts without logging out of your primary account.

Upgrade Timeline:
Thursday, May 28th
Statements print or download your past statements by logging into Online Banking to save them as it will not transfer to the new It’sMe247 Online Banking & Mobile Banking App.
VISA® Debit Card will be operational with a temporary reduced limit for purchases and withdrawals starting at 10:00pm HST on Thursday, May 28th until Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:00am HST. To prepare, plan to have extra cash on hand or use your Garden Island FCU VISA® Credit Card for larger purchases.
Friday, May 29th
Direct Deposit to complete the transition to our new system, some direct deposits received on Friday, May 29th will not be available until Tuesday, June 2nd when the new system is live.
Remote Deposit Capture (Mobile Check Deposit) will go offline at 3:00pm HST on Friday, May 29th and will be unavailable for 7-10 business days after the system upgrade.
Transfers schedule or complete any manual transfers in advance to avoid delays during the upgrade period.
In-Branch Needs take care of any special in‑branch transactions ahead of time.
Cash Access consider withdrawing extra cash to have on hand for larger purchases.
Account Number securely save your account number, as you will need it when registering for the first time in the new Online Banking system.
Sunday, May 31st
Old Online Banking & Mobile Banking App members will have limited service access until 5:00 p.m. HST on Sunday, May 31st when the system goes offline. Once it goes offline, members will no longer have web and mobile access until the new Online Banking is available.
Bill Pay will go offline and will be available on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Monday, June 1st and Tuesday, June 2nd
All branch locations will be CLOSED while the system is upgraded.
Wednesday, June 3rd
All branch locations will reopen for regular business hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm HST.
New Online Banking: New Online Banking will be available for members to access. Members will need to re-enroll when accessing it for the first time after the system upgrade. Please use the first-time registration instructions by click the button below to open the System Upgrade Guide. You’ll find first‑time registration instructions on page 4.
Unavailable Services After the System Upgrade
Some services will not be available immediately after the system is upgraded. Please allow 7– 10 business days for the following services to become fully accessible:
New Mobile Banking App for both Apple and Android devices.
Remote Deposit Capture (Mobile Check Deposit) will resume once the new Mobile Banking App is available.
Enhanced online account opening for a smoother, more convenient experience.

Yes, all Garden Island FCU branch locations will be closed during the system upgrade on June 1st through June 2nd. All branch locations will reopen on June 3rd for normal business hours.

Yes, your personal data, account information, and funds will remain safe and secure during the upgrade.

Your direct deposit and ACH debits will continue as scheduled. However, some direct deposits received on Friday, May 29th will not be available until Tuesday, June 02nd when the new system is live.

Your debit card will continue to work during the upgrade, however there will be a reduced temporary daily limit starting on Thursday, May 28th at 10:00pm HST until Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:00am HST.

No, you will not be able to view your previous statements in Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App. We recommend that you download your previous statements as soon as possible.

Yes, you will be able to use your Garden Island FCU VISA® Credit Card during the conversion without any issues.

Yes, it will go offline on Sunday, May 31st at 5:00pm and will be available on Wednesday, June 3rd at 8:30am.

No, all checks will continue to clear on the new system and members will be able to order new checks through Online Banking and the Mobile Banking App.

Yes, Remote Deposit Capture will go offline at 3:00 p.m. and will remain unavailable for approximately 7–10 business days after the system upgrade.
It will be available when the new Mobile Banking App is live, no later than Tuesday, June 16th.
