Membership is open to any person who lives, works, worships, or attends school on Kaua'i. Family members (related by blood or marriage) of any member of Garden Island FCU are also eligible.

Each account owner must be 18 years old or older and provide:

When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will help us identify you. We also may ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

Please have your government photo ID ready. One of our Member Services Representative will contact you once we receive your membership application.
*To qualify for the $100 Switch & Earn Cash Bonus, new members must open an account in person or online between 09/01/2026 and 10/31/2026. New accounts must meet all requirements to be eligible for the $100 cash bonus. If an account does not meet the requirements, no cash bonus will be paid. To qualify, members must complete all promotion requirements within 30 days of account opening. Qualifying requirements include opening a Savings Account and a Checking Account, enrolling in Online Banking and eStatements, and receiving qualifying direct deposits totaling at least $1,000 per month. Transfers between accounts, person-to-person transfers, wire transfers, ATM deposits, mobile deposits, and internal account transfers do not qualify as direct deposits. All accounts and services must remain open, active, and in good standing at the time bonus payments are processed. Bonus payments will be deposited into the member's Primary Share Account within 60 days after the criteria are met. New accounts must remain open for at least 90 days from the date of account opening, or the cash bonus will be forfeited. Members who receive $100 or more in incentives annually may receive a Form 1099-MISC. Members are responsible for any personal tax liability arising from this Switch & Earn Promotion.
